Home Report and Settings
Home Report Overview
The Home Report features location-based historical environmental data based on a user's location settings. Location settings can be changed at any time and, upon first opening, th app will always prompt users for their location settings.
Specific charts or number metrics will be displayed on the main page, with labels to indicate their corresponding location. These charts and metrics will be populated based on the specificity of a user's location settings (i.e. - country vs. U.S. state, specifically).
The home report always users te ability to view particularly relevant historical environmental data for select regions of the world, without the hassle of navigating through large report hierarchies to reach these individual reports.
Home report charts and metrics may pertain to a variety of different topics, including CO2 emissions, temperatures, and natural disasters.
Changing Location Settings
In order to change location settings to generate a new home report, simply click the gear icon in the Earthlytics bottom navigation bar. Select a country from the dropdown menu (searching is enabled in the dropdown). If the country selected is the United States
, then you will also have the option to select a specific U.S. State in the same manner as the country. Once completed save your new settings and navigate back to the home report page.
Additional Settings
Earthlytics allows users to clear the app Cache
, which will reset favorite reports, as well as any previously visited reports currently saved in the app. Feel free to use this button, underneath the location settings Save
button, whenever necessary!
